An amino acid, Glutamine plays an important role in muscle function during and after exercise. It plays a key role in several essential metabolic processes and is an important modulator of the heat shock protein (HSP) response, a crucial mechanism to maintain cellular homeostasis and to promote cell resistance to injury. It consists of 19% nitrogen, because of which it plays a pivotal role in maintaining nitrogen balance in the body. Additionally over 61% of skeletal muscle is Glutamine, making it crucial for muscle function during and after exercise.
During intense training or workouts, Glutamine levels are greatly depleted in our body, which decreases strength, stamina and recovery. Directions for Use:
Mix 1 scoop into 250 ml of water, fruit juice or sports drink. Take 1 scoop each, before and after your workout to fuel muscles and support protein synthesis.
